Fir and pine needles are small and behave differently from broad leaves. The kind of debris your roof gets is the main thing that decides which guard makes sense.
The gutters underneath
Guards on top of leaking or sagging gutters just hide the problem. If the gutters need work first, we will say so.
Upkeep afterward
Debris can still collect on top of guards and needs an occasional clearing. We will tell you what to expect for your home.

Questions about gutter guards
Will guards mean I never clean my gutters again?
No. They cut down on cleanings a lot for most homes, but debris can still build up on top and needs to be cleared now and then. Maintenance free is not a promise we make.
Can guards go on my existing gutters?
Usually, if the gutters are in good condition and properly sloped. If they are not, we will recommend fixing that first.
